Hello, my readers!
Thank you for being a good reader. Your reading habit has encouraged amateur writers like me to take writing seriously.
I can promise you that we will no longer write about nasty people, ungrateful pumpkin-heads and judgemental hypocrites anymore. We are human beings and God has been kind enough not to make everybody alike.
2022 has been a roller-coaster ride. We lost a few people, gained a few, made memories, learnt lessons, travelled cities and above all, cried a lot and laughed a little. The universe was kind enough to not let the pandemic affect much.
I have been on both sides of the coin this year. I travelled overseas, and went on a mini family vacation, my little brother got married and Aarna, my second daughter turned 1. Other than these beautiful things, I was mocked for my weight, misunderstood a ton and judged like there was nothing better in this world(by "not at all important people, of course").
What I look forward to in 2023 is nothing but a sense of solitude for my ever-restless mind. It takes a lot of patience and hard work to keep up your sanity especially when one has gone through the bumpy road of depression and anxiety. The reason why I talk a lot about mental health is that we still are ages away from normalizing mental stress and trauma.
I have seen people who are financially strong and have successful careers yet they overthink and become victims to overthinking and over-reacting and this has taken a toll on relations and many repercussions.
I know we all are in the cycle of learning, unlearning and relearning and we still have a long way to go. But despite this beautiful journey that shall come to an end one day, we all wake up hopeful and positive. So kudos to this fighting spirit of ours and with this wishing you all beautiful minds, Happy New year 2023.
Love, until eternity!
